New Employee Personnel Requirements Tracking

Purpose: 

To ensure personnel compliance with state and federal employment law and Minnesota’s comprehensive licensure. To ensure all employees are appropriate to work with vulnerable adults.

Policy: RC-A12, RC-P10, RC-P5, RC-P12

Measurement:

  1. 100% of Employees have “Certifications and Credentials” dates entered for all required items

Process:

  1. Upon completion of new employee orientation, Team Coordinator will enter all ongoing and expiring personnel requirements in ClearCare’s “Certification and Credentials” tracking in the employees ClearCare personnel record.
  2. The Team Coordinator will enter expiring documents and requirements into ClearCare according to the below deadlines:

    Annual MVR Report

    One year from hire date (update each year for the following year)

    One month before expiration date

    Annual Relias Education

    12/31 of the year following hire date

    One month before expiration date

    Annual TB Screening

    One year from hire date (update each year for the following year)

    One month before expiration date

    Car Insurance

    Expiration Date on Insurance Card

    One month before expiration date

    CNA License

    Expiration Date of CNA License on the Registry 

    One month before expiration date

    Driver's License

    Expiration Date on Driver's License

    One month before expiration date

    New Hire Relias Education

    Final day of employee orientation
